The easiest Halloween party food ever invented: hot dogs wrapped in strips of crescent dough so they look like tiny mummies, baked golden, and finished with mustard or candy eyes. Kids lose their minds; adults eat more than they admit.

Steps
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a rimmed baking pan with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together, then cut into thin strips about 1/4 inch wide.
Wrap each hot dog in dough strips, leaving a small gap near one end for the face. The messier the wrap, the better the mummy.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes, until the dough is puffed and golden. Press two candy eyes into the gap while warm, or dot mustard eyes once cool.
Tip: Cheese-filled dogs make these even better. Wrap them a little loose — the dough puffs as it bakes.
